I believe that imposter syndrome runs so rampant in coffee due to societal pressures of all kinds. I could write a book just on how many times I’ve had to answer questions like “So you’re just a barista?”, “Are you a student/ What did you go to school for?”, “What do you really do?”, “So… you want to open a coffee shop?”
